Building and Floors Configuration

This section contains a quick reference to the configuration, to help you find out where to complete the task. 
 

Configuration

Menu Quick Reference

Building Type drop-down

Refer to Keywords and Modify an existing Keyword Set.

Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Keywords.

The values are found in the Building Types keyword.

Tags field

The default tags are managed in configuration.

Refer to Tagging.

Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Tagging.

Building Region drop-down

The Regions keyword is used to define the regions.

Refer to Modify the Regions Keyword.

Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Keywords.

The values are found in the Region keyword.

Location Type drop-down

Refer to Keywords and Modify an existing Keyword Set.

Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Keywords.

The values are found in the Location Types keyword.

Leasing Type drop-down 

Refer to Keywords and Modify an existing Keyword Set.

Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Keywords.

The values are found in the Leasing Types keyword.

Rent Review Type drop-down 

Refer to Keywords and Modify an existing Keyword Set.

Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Keywords.

The values are found in the Rent Review Values keyword.

Building Utilization Provider drop-down -The default building utilization provider is set in the utilization settings.

Floor Configuration

Tags field

The default tags are managed in configuration, refer to Tagging.

  1. Navigate to Configuration > General.
  2. Select Tagging.

You can set the leased area and derived scale for a floor.

Load Factor field

Bill Unallocated Space To drop-down

Refer to Keywords and Modify an existing Keyword Set.

 

Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Keywords.

The values are found in the Bill To Types keyword.

Bill Remaining Area To drop-down

Refer to Keywords and Modify an existing Keyword Set.

Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Keywords.

The values are found in the Bill To Types keyword.

Floorplan Management

As part of implementation we use .dwg files for each of your floors to build your portfolio and provide a central repository for file storage ongoing so they are easily accessible and retrievable in the event of a refurbishment to a floor. New or existing floorplans can be upload using either an automated or manual process.

Floorplan Importer

Floorplan Importer processor which automates the floorplan drafting and mapping process. Floorplan Importer can read .dwg files and apply the correct polylines and space mapping with minimal intervention, making it quick and easy to upload large portfolios.

Manual Floorplan Management

If you do not have Floorplan Importer set up, the Serraview Support team will manage the initial upload and ongoing updates of your CAD files and space mapping.
