Configure Leased Area

Serraview Only Configuration

You can set the leased area and derived scale for a floor. If you require a bulk update to be completed, then contact Serraview Support.

Step 1. Update the Buildings and Floor Configuration

  1. Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Buildings and Floors.
  2. Uncheck the Use Total Area for Area column check box.
  3. Click the Update button.

Step 2. Update the Mapping Configuration

To display the Derive Scale check box in the Floor form, you must check the Used Lease Area to determine Floorplan Scale check box.

  1. Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Mapping.
  2. Check the Used Leased Area to determine Floorplan Scale check box.
  3. Click the Update button.

Step 3. Update the Floor Details

  1. Navigate to Resources > Buildings & Floors.
  2. Click on the building.
  3. Click on the floor you want to edit.
  4. Click the Edit icon. The Edit Floor dialog displays.
  5. In the Leased Area field, enter the leased area.
  6. If you have entered a value in the Leased Area field, then check the Derive Scale check box to adjust the mapping to match this value. For example, if the mapped NLA (Net Lettable Area) produces 2000 sqm, and the actual NLA on the lease is 1915, you can enter this value in the Leased Area field. The mapping will adjust the scale of mapping to make sure the area of spaces adjusts to this value.
  7. Click the Update Floor button.
