Configure Multilingual Support

Engage supports the following languages by default:
  • Dutch
  • English (United States)
  • English (Australia)
  • English (United Kingdom)
  • French (Canada)
  • French (France)
  • German
  • Hebrew
  • Korean
  • Japanese
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Spanish

Q. Why can't I see an option for languages?

Languages need to be enabled per instance. It is likely it has not been switched on for your instance.

Q. Is there a cost associated with languages

Yes, there is a small fee per language to facilitate the creation and maintenance of languages.

Q. Can I request a language?

Of course, contact your Customer Success Manager with your request.

Q. Can I set up my Concierge Menu for the language?

Yes, the concierge menu only needs 3 more items for the menu to display and if needed, the default translation can be changed to suit your business. Note that the Background Image will be used for all of the languages. Learn more in Update the Concierge Menu with the Language Translation.

Q. Can I set up my Markers for other languages?

By default, the marker names will match the en-US version and your Administrator can change the names based on their regional preferences. Learn more in Set up the Markers with the Language Translation.
