VBS Configuration

This section contains a quick Reference to the configuration, to help you find out where to complete the task.

Configuration	Menu Quick Reference
Allow Blocking of Flexible Teams in Neighborhoods If you want to visualize and report on neighborhoods on a floor while maintaining the ability to support both fixed and flexible team blocking within those spaces. You can enable the VBS to allow blocking of flexible teams in neighborhoods. Refer to Configure blocking of Flexi Teams in Neighborhoods	Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > VBS.
Always Use Org Unit Color If you want your teams color to display in the VBS as the same color as the Org Unit. Refer to Configure Org Unit Color	Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > VBS.
Auto Allocate and Auto Allocate - Org Unit Roll Up Level The Auto Allocate feature allows allocations to be automatically updated based on the occupant's cost center when the occupancy of a space changes, to learn more see Auto Allocate in the Block and Stack and to turn on the setting see Configure Auto Allocate in the VBS.	Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > VBS.
Auto De-allocate Unoccupied Desks	Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > VBS.
Use Capacity and Opportunity For building you can view by default the statistics, either: workpoints and opportunity or the workpoints and unoccupied. Refer to View Building and Floor Statistics.	Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > VBS.
VBS Comment Prompt	Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > VBS.
VBS Move Projects Quick Reports This sets the Scenario VBS quick reports, refer to Scenario Planner Quick Reports and Configure Quick Reports.	Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > VBS.
VBS Quick Reports The VBS module has a set of quick reports that can be run without having to go to the Serraview Reporting module. Refer to Block and Stack (VBS) Quick Reports and Configure Quick Reports.	Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > VBS.
VBS Show Space Types	Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > VBS.
VBS Show Validation History	Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > VBS.
Additional Configuration	Menu Quick Reference
Default Target Occupancy Ratio The default Target Occupancy Ratio can be set. Refer to Configure the Default Target Occupancy Ratio and this can be overridden in Change Flexible Team's Target Ratio.	Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > General.
Retention Statuses Retention statuses are mainly used by Workplace Administrators using Workplace, and they can be used within the VBS. Refer to Retention Statuses	Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Select Retention Statuses.
Utilization Statistics - Badge Swipe or SVLive data The VBS Information Panel can display utilization statistics that based on Badge Swipe data (Speedgate data) or SVLive data. Note that if you do not have utilization data then the Peak Utilization statistics will be hidden. Refer to Configure Utilization for VBS - Information Panel.
