Troubleshooting - Desk Activity Data

The following troubleshooting process flow will help you diagnose issues.

# Process Flow

Some desks do not display any live data.

Staff detected at a desk that they are not sitting at.

All desks on the floor display no SVLive data.

Is activity detected by other staff on a different floor in the same building?

Yes - go to the next question.

No - go to Building Activity Data Troubleshooting.

Is activity detected by other staff if they connect their device to the desk?

Yes - go to SPS Maintenance.

No - go to the next question.

Is Wired activity expected at the desk?

Yes - go to Wireup Maintenance.

No - go to the next question

Does the desk have a flag set as "No Active Data Points" in Wireup?

Yes - Desks with this flag will not show SVLive activity. 

No - go to Wireup Maintenance.

Is the device showing a Wired or Wi-Fi connection in the Task Bar?

Wired - go to the next question.

Wi-Fi - go to Wi-Fi Maintenance.

Is the wired activity detected if the device is plugged in at another desk?

Yes - Wireup Maintenance

No - SPS Maintenance.
