One of the key items to consider when implementing a Chargeback process is which org unit will pay for unallocated space, remaining area and unallocated sublease area.
Set the Remaining Area
Navigate to Configuration > General.
Select Chargeback Statistics.
Click the Edit button.
Set the Remaining Area - This is a space not mapped as any particular space type, and therefore cannot have a charge rule applied.
From the Default Remaining Area Bill To Policy drop-down select either: Share across building, Share across floor. If you select share across building or share across floor, then all org units marked as 3rd Party Tenant will be excluded.
In the Default Remaining Area Org Unit ID spin box, enter the org unit id.
5. Click the Update button.
Set the Unallocated Space
Navigate to Configuration > General.
Select Chargeback Statistics.
Click the Edit button.
Set the Unallocated Space - This is a space that has the dedicated allocation charge rule, and yet has not been allocated to a specific team.
From the Default Unallocated Space Org Unit ID drop-down select either: Share across building, Share across floor. If you select share across building or share across floor, then all org units marked as 3rd Party Tenant will be excluded.
In the Default Unallocated Space Org Unit ID spin box, enter the org unit id.
