How SVLive Wired Works
The Utilization Technology called SVLive Wired can be used when you want to understand the employee’s behaviors and to understand the people statistics for a floor, neighborhood, or desk. This lets you see who (and which teams) is using the floor, neighborhood, or desk. This is accurate to the minute of utilization per desk, neighborhood, or floor.

Devices using ethernet ports, such as docking stations are shown in blue. Each location is mapped to a switch port, which is mapped and stored within Serraview.
A laptop, shown as the pink dot, is running the Serraview Presence Service, which is known as SPS. The SPS reports back the user information, presence, and MAC address to SVLive.
The SVLive switch scanner scans all ports to identify occupied workpoints and available workpoints. From this scan, it will identify the port used by the person at the pink desk.
SVLive is then able to process all of this information to determine exactly which desk the user is located at, if they are present, and their identity.
In summary, all of this technology lets us know that Brian is using this switch port, which is mapped to a particular desk in Serraview.
