Insights Data Model

The Insights Data Model has been designed to make it as easy as possible for humans to understand and analyze Serraview data without compromising performance. It was designed as a reporting solution with helpful visuals, but it is not a replacement for Serraview reporting.

The data model used by Insights is not identical to the core Serraview transactional database. Instead, it is a customized view that is designed for better analysis and performance. As a result of the distinct data models, certain calculations in Insights may not correspond with Serraview as expected.
