Search for a person to sit next to and reserve a desk

You can search for a person and find out where they are sitting on a particular day. Then if needed you can select a desk next to (or near) the person and reserve the desk.

Follow the Steps


Tap on Maps to begin.

The menu items in the Concierge menu are configurable so the menu item could be called Find & Book or another name that suits your business, see Set up the Concierge Menu for 3 or more menu items.

In this example, tap on the Now icon.

The  calendar displays.

Change the date and time.

Tap the Select button.

The search results display.

In the Search field, enter in the person's name you are looking for. The search results filter as you enter the name.

Tap on the person's name.

The person's location displays on the floorplan.

If you need to return to today's time then tap the Now image2021-3-15_14-57-36.png icon and the date and time will change to today's date and time.

Then if needed you can select a desk next to (or near) the person and reserve the desk.

In this example, the desk 4.006 was selected and can be reserved.

Slide the Slide to Reserve button to reserve the desk.

Email Confirmation


When you reserved a desk then the confirmation email is sent to the person for whom the booking is for. 

An optional feature is to email employees a confirmation email when they make a desk reservation. For more details, refer to Set up Engage to send out Confirmation Emails and Engage Emails.
