Update your Teams

Let us take you through how to update your Teams - from learning about the Team Details form, changing Working Styles, useful VBS Blocking tools, and to how to delete teams.

After the initial setup, you can create additional teams as required and updates to the team's details can be made, such as team's name, color, org unit, number of workpoints, etc.

Add or Remove People from the Team

You can add or remove people from the team.

Match the Team's Allocation to the Blocking

While you can use the Painting tools (Paint Roller and Paint Over Roller) to manually adjust the blocking to match the stack if desks are available, you also can use the Match Allocation to Blocking within the Team form to update the stack to reflect the blocked desks.

Paint Over Existing Teams Blocking - VBS Blocking Tool

When you use the Paint Roller and Paint Brush tools to block teams, by default the VBS will retain any existing blocking that exists on the floor. The Paint Over mode can be used to change this behavior to let you paint over any existing blocking with the selected team.

Add Team allocation based on the Occupant's Cost Center - VBS Blocking Tool

If you have a floorplan that has workstations with occupants you can use the Paint Occupant tool to block the workstations to the occupant's cost center.

Change the Team's Working Style

You can switch the working style of a team in bulk, or for a single team. Remember if you to update the working style for multiple teams then you will need to create a Scenario Plan, use the Bulk Update tools to update the teams, and then publish the Scenario Plan to live. Learn more in Scenario Planner and Bulk Update Tools in Scenario VBS.

Change the Flexible Team's Target Ratio

For Flexible Teams, you can either use the default target ratio or update the target ratio for a single team or multiple teams. Remember if you want to update the target ratio for multiple flexible teams then you will need to create a Scenario Plan and use the Change Target Ratio bulk update tool to update the teams and then publish the Scenario Plan to live. Learn more in Scenario Planner and Bulk Update Tools in Scenario VBS.

Delete Team(s)

If needed you can delete a team or multiple teams and this will delete blocking, clear the people from the team, and remove the team from any associated Scenario Plans.
