Troubleshooting - People Activity Data

The following troubleshooting process flows will help you diagnose issues.

Staff not detected or detected issues

#	Process Flow
1	Staff not detected at the desks they are sitting at. Staff detected via Engage check-in or Badge, but not SVLive. Staff detected in reporting or SVLive inconsistently. Staff detected at a desk that they are not sitting at.
2	Is activity detected by other staff on the same floor?	Yes - go to the next question. No - go to Floor Activity Data Troubleshooting.
3	Is activity detected if the staff member sits at a different desk?	Yes - go to the next question. No - go to Wireup Maintenance.
4	Is activity detected if the staff member switches to Wi-Fi?	Yes - go to Wireup Maintenance. No - go to People Data Maintenance. Coming Soon - People Data Maintenance article and link.

#	Process Flow
1	Staff not displaying correctly in the reports.
2	Do they appear in any SVLive activity reports?	Yes - go to the next question No - go to People Data Maintenance. Coming Soon - People Data Maintenance article and link.
3	Do they appear in the wrong team in reports?	Yes - go to People Data Maintenance. No - go to the next question
4	Do they not appear in reports during a period when some SVLive data was unavailable?	Yes - No data will be available to report on. No - Go go the question "Is activity detected by other staff on the same floor?" (in the above diagram)

#	Process Flow
1	Staff location is incorrect when on Wi-Fi.
2	Go to Wi-Fi Maintenance.

1	Staff displaying as "Unknown Person" in Engage.
2	Does the employee have "Opt out of Engage" turned on?	Yes - go to Op-out an Employee from Engage's Search. No - go to People Data Maintenance. Coming Soon - People Data Maintenance article and link.
