Use the Link Discovery Tool to check the switches
The Link Discovery tool is used to identify the switch port and the access level switch that the user is connected to.
Prerequisites
- The program requires Administration access to run.
- Download from https://github.com/chall32/LDWin
Check the Switches
Complete the following:
- Dock the device.
- Start the Link Discovery Tool application.
- Select the Network Connection that shows the expected MAC Address.
- Click the Get Link Data button.
- Check the Port Identifier field and the Switch IP Address field.
