Search for person whose desk is in another location (Web)
Where is Tim? Search for Tim on Engage and within seconds you have found his desk.
Follow the Steps
In the Find people, spaces, and more field, enter the name of the person.
As you type in person's name the list is filtered.
Engage displays Tim.
Click on the name of the person.
The person's location displays on the floorplan.
If you want to contact the person then either:
- Click on the email
icon to send them an email. - Click on the MS Teams
icon to chat to them on MS Teams.
If you want to sit next to them (or near them) then select an available desk and reserve it.
Email Confirmation
If you reserved a desk then the confirmation email is sent to the person for whom the booking is for.
An optional feature to email employees a confirmation email when they make a desk reservation. For more details, refer to Set up Engage to send out Confirmation Emails and Engage Emails.
