‘Serraview Locator Configuration’ Section

The below configuration options can be found in the 'Serraview Locator Configuration' section.

This area will only be visible if your instance has the Locator module enabled, and you have the required secured action.

'Find a Desk' configuration options

  1. Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Serraview Locator Configuration.
  2. The settings to configure are:

Field

Description

Desk Page Enabled check box

System Administrator

Enable or disable the use of the 'Find a Desk' tab for desktop/kiosk Locator users.

Desk Page Sequence field

System Administrator

Sequence of the 'Find a Desk' tab on the homepage and navigation bar for desktop/kiosk Locator users.

Allow Desk Reservation check box

System Administrator

Select to enable the allow desk reservation in Locator.

Desk Page Container Predicate field

System Administrator

Enter a SVQL string.

This configures which desk types to be displayed in Locator. 

For example:

SpaceType.IsAtOrBelow(30,83)
Desk Page Container Search Predicate field

System Administrator

Enter a SVQL string.
Desk Reservation Duration Minutes field

Serraview Only Configuration

Enter the number of minutes.

3. Click the Update button.

'Find a Space' configuration options

  1. Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Serraview Locator Configuration.
  2. The settings to configure are:

Enable or disable the use of the 'Find a Space' tab for desktop or kiosk Locator users.
Space Page Sequence field Sequence of the 'Find a Space' tab on the homepage and nav bar for desktop/kiosk Locator users.

Space Page Container Predicate field

System Administrator

This configures which space types to be displayed in Locator.

For example:

SpaceType.IsAtOrBelow(20,22,23,83)
Space Page Container Search Predicate field

System Administrator

Enter a SVQL string.
Space Page Space Type Predicate field

Serraview Only Configuration

Enter a SVQL string.
Space Page Attribute Predicate field

Serraview Only Configuration

Enter a SVQL string.

3. Click the Update button.

'Find a Person' configuration options

  1. Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Serraview Locator Configuration.
  2. The settings to configure are:

This configures which space types to be displayed in Locator.

'Heatmap' configuration options

  1. Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Serraview Locator Configuration.
  2. The settings to configure are:

3. Click the Update button.

'Kiosk' configuration options

  1. Navigate to Admin Settings > System Config > General > Serraview Locator Configuration.
  2. The settings to configure are:

Kiosk Home Timeout – Display Dialog At (seconds)

Number (seconds)

Number of seconds that the Kiosk can be idle before a message dialog will display, warning that the Kiosk will return to the home page.

Kiosk Home Timeout – Display Message At (seconds)

Number (seconds)

System Administrator

Number of seconds that the Kiosk can be idle before a message will display, warning that the Kiosk will return to the home page.

Kiosk Return Home Timeout (seconds)

Number (seconds)

System Administrator

Time in seconds until the kiosk will return to the home screen if no user activity is detected.

3. Click the Update button.
