Digital Signage Overview

Locator can be displayed in a non-interactive full screen mode, known as Digital Signage, to give those viewing the screen an overview of the current activity on the floor.

There are many layers that can be displayed, including:

  • People – a heatmap plotting the current primary location of all known people.
  • Desks – desk availability, driven by wired LDM and/or desk occupancy sensor data.
  • Spaces – space availability, driven by integrated Room Booking Services (Exchange or Google Calendar) and/or room occupancy senor data.

People

Displays a person heatmap on the floorplan. The people view will display a heatmap of all known people on the floorplan. This covers all utilization sources; SVLive Wired, SVLive WiFi, sensors, etc.

Desks

Displays the desk availability, the same as is found in 'Find a Desk'. Desk availability is driven by wired utilization data.

Locator

For example, desk availability displayed in Locator on a desktop browser.

Spaces

Displays space availability, the same as is found in 'Find a Space'.

Combined View

Multiple layers can be displayed at the same time. For example, display the space availability overlaid with desk availability.

Or space availability overlaid with the Person heatmap.
