There are various methods to export data from Serraview; this article and video takes you through an overview of the methods.

- Insights Dashboards - You can schedule an Insights Dashboard to be sent out.
- Automated Reports - The Serraview Reports can be scheduled using the Automated Reports.

You can use the Reporting module to generate and download reports. Additionally, we have the Quick Reports that are configured in the modules ready for you to use, so you don't have to leave the module.

API
The Core API allows your organization to securely export your data from Serraview to your external system. You can flexibly use this API for a range of tasks:
- Search for people information, including images that display the person's assigned location.
- Fetch building information, including floorplan images with optional space type highlighting.
- Request and assign desks for new employees.
- Run standard and custom reports.
- And finally, manage service requests.
Serraview Insights
Serraview Insights analyzes your portfolio and uses industry best practices, metrics, and benchmarks to help optimize your workplace. Insights provides you with the following:
- Insights Dashboards - These interactive dashboards are pre-built and ready for your teams to use. Learn more about the dasboards.
- Insights Editor - This allows your Data Analyst to create and edit dashboards.
- Insights Direct Connect - This is where your Data Analyst can securely connect to the Serraview Insights data warehouse using your own analytics tools.

Insights Editor
The Insights Editor let's licensed users edit your own dashboards or make them from scratch.
Your Data Analyst will have the skills to learn and use the Insights Editor, which is the BI Tool provided by Looker and this connects to the Snowflake database.

Insights Direct Connect
Whereas the Insights Direct Connect, lets your Data Analyst plug-in the Serraview data model into your BI Tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, and more.
Your Data Analyst will have the skills to use the BI Tool, which is connected to the Snowflake database, and then they will create your data visualizations.

Reports Module & Quick Reports
The Reporting module contains a list of custom reports and standard reports such as Report 22, Floorplan Block, Report 34, Workstation Detail, and report 50, Occupancy Details. These can be run on the spot and filtered to your reporting requirements like building, region, org unit, or date range. Also, we can build you custom reports for you to show the data in different formats or combine elements of the Serraview data model.
Additionally, some of the reports found in the Reporting module can be found in the other modules. For example, the Space module contains: report 22, the Floorplan Block; Report 34, the Work Detail, and Report 67, the Space Report. These reports are set up as Quick Reports and can be run from the module. They have parameters that your System Administrator can set up.

Automated Reports
Automated reports can assist you to run regular reports in a timely manner and then email them automatically to specific people. Examples of common automated reports include monthly utilization report and bi-weekly asset report. The Serraview standard reports and your custom reports can be automated to be regularly generated and sent to your specified recipients.
