SVLive2 Network Access and Ports

The following table displays individual data flows within the SVLive architecture.

Switch Scanner 

Switch scan request

  • Internal connection
  • Does not leave client network
  • Validate the switch scanning during onboarding

Prerequisites

Provide the Switch details to your Serraview Project Manager.

The Switch Import file needs to contain the following columns:

  • IP Address
  • Switch Name
  • Building
  • Floor
  • Additional Floors

You can download and use the template file called Switch Import.csv

Presence Service is configured to use one of the following (MQTT or HTTPS) modes.

  • Wireless Access Points (WAPs) Polls

Prerequisites

Provide the WAPs via the Wireless Access Points Import.

The Wireless Access Points Import file needs to contain the following columns:

  • Name
  • Location - This is the location of the WAP on the floorplan.
  • BSSID - MAC Address of the WAP
  • Height - Distance in meters from typical desk height to access point height.
