Configure Locator Space Reservations

Prerequisites

Set up Spaces with Calendar Integration

Spaces that have been set up for use with Room Availability can be set up to be reserved and for more information on the Calendar Integration, see Locator Calendar Integration.

From the VBS complete the following:

  1. From left-menu click Block & Stack (VBS). The Building Selection screen displays.
  2. Either select a building from the Building Selection or from the Recently Opened list.
  3. For the floor, click the toggle icon_right.pngicon to display the floorplan.
  4. On the floorplan, double click a space. The Update Space form displays.
  5. Click the Attributes tab.
  6. Check the Reserving Enabled check box to enable the space for bookings.
  7. In the Email field, enter the calendar resource's email address.
  8. Click the Update Space button.

Set up Spaces without Calendar Integration

Spaces that have been set up for use with Room Availability can be set up to be reserved.

From the VBS complete the following:

  1. From left-menu click Block & Stack (VBS). The Building Selection screen displays.
  2. Either select a building from the Building Selection or from the Recently Opened list.
  3. For the floor, click the toggle icon_right.pngicon to display the floorplan.
  4. On the floorplan, double click a space. The Update Space form displays.
  5. Click the Attributes tab.
  6. Check the Reserving Enabled check box to enable the space for bookings. 
  7. Remember to leave the Email field blank.
  8. Click the Update Space button.
