Engage Calendar Integration

Released June 19th

Engage can integrate bi-directionally with your organization's Corporate Calendar (as long as it's Exchange/Outlook, Office365, or Google Calendar).

With this integration turned on:

Your administrator can connect specific spaces (typically meeting rooms, conference rooms, huddle rooms, etc) in Engage to the matching resources in your Corporate Calendar
Engage users can then see which rooms are free/busy based on their status in your Corporate Calendar
When Engage users book these spaces in Engage, that booking is automatically synced back to your Corporate Calendar so that everyone can see that it's booked in Outlook or GCal.

Engage and Microsoft Intune

The Intune App SDK, available for both iOS and Android, enables your app to support Intune app protection policies. When the Engage app has app protection policies applied to it, it can be managed by Intune and is recognized by Intune as a managed app.

Allow for Future Check-ins

Enhance the check-in functionality to allow the Corporate Real Estate team to set the check-in window to open and close prior the reservation start time. For example, you can prompt users to check-in to a desk reservation the day before.

This uses the existing desk check-in open window and desk check-in close window settings, refer to Set up the Desk Reservation & Check-in Times.

Auto Cancellation of Desk Booking (Auto Bump)

This will cancel the desk booking if an employee does not check-in to the desk by the required time. Their desk booking is cancelled and freed up for someone else to use.

Search Opt-out

Your System Administrator, can opt-out employees from Engage's search via Serraview's People Directory.

Send Email Confirmations

An optional feature to email employees a confirmation email when they make a desk reservation.

The confirmation email is sent to the person for whom the booking is for.

Search returns People who have not Checked-in to their Reservation

On the current day, Engage only returns a person’s reservation location as a search result if they have checked into their reservation. This was causing confusion with some users. We will now always return a person's reservation location, whether they have checked-in or not.

Hide a Person in the search results who is assigned to a Hidden Building or Floor
