Update Computer Details
This article contains an example BOS Move Data, you may find your BOS Move Data is different from the example.
The IT Staff will complete the computer details for the current location and the destination location.
Current Computers
From the BOS Move Data screen:
- From the BOS Grid Headings, click Computers.
- Click the BOS row. The Computers form displays.
3. Select the Type button.
4. In the Asset Number field, enter the asset number.
5. In the Monitors field, enter the number of monitors.
6. Select the Fixed IP address button either Yes or No.
7. Select the Mainframe Printing button either Yes or No.
8. From the Move Action drop-down, select the action either Unknown, Discarded, Moving, or Staying.
9. If the BOS Occupant has another computer, then click the + icon to add another computer.
10. Complete the computer's details.
11. Click the Save button.
Destination Computers
From the BOS Move Data screen:
- From the BOS Grid Headings, click Destination Computers.
- Click the BOS row. The Destination Computers form displays.
3. Select the Type button.
4. In the Asset Number field, enter the asset number.
5. In the Monitors field, enter the number of monitors.
6. Select the Fixed IP address button either Yes or No.
7. Select the Mainframe Printing button either Yes or No.
8. If the BOS Occupant has another computer, then click the + icon to add another computer.
9. Complete the computer's details.
10. Click the Save button.
