Prepare for initial wireup
Prerequisites
1. Install Switch Scanner
For the Wireup module to work, Switch Scanner must have been installed and configured on your infrastructure. Learn more in Install and set up the Switch Scanner Service.
2. Install MAC Address Watcher
This software runs in the background and automatically updates the Wireup tool. Learn more in Automated or Manual MAC Address Retrieval.
3. Configure the Wireup Module
The Wireup Modules settings and the Workpoint Flags can be set up. Learn more in Wireup Configuration Tasks.
