Change Team Color

Overview

This lets you select a custom color for clearer distinctions between teams instead of having to use the default Organizational Unit color.

Tips

  • Custom colors are visible to all users and after the color is set everyone will see the same team colors.
  • Custom colors apply only to the individual team. When you select a custom color for one team this will not impact the colors of any other teams that share the same cost center, even if those teams are on the same floor.
  • Custom colors apply only at the Team level and the Org Unit colors at other levels remain unchanged. In the Group By, if anything other than Team level is selected, the Org Unit colors will be shown.
  • Custom colors won't apply to the standard reports.

Prerequisites

Make sure the Always Use Org Unit Color checkbox is disabled, see Configure Org Unit Color.

Change the team's color

From the Block and Stack (VBS), complete the following:

  1. From the Team tab, select the team.
  2. In the right panel, click the team's Edit icon. The Update Team form displays.
  3. Uncheck the Default Color check box.
  4. Click the Custom Color icon.

  1. You can either select color from the display, or enter a Hex code or enter a RGB code.
  2. Click the Update Team button to save.
