Delete Teams from the Block and Stack

Understand the impacts

You will need to consider the impacts of the deletion:

• Removal of the team(s) from the Block and Stack.
• Removal of the people in the team(s).
• Removal of the team(s) from any associated Scenario Plans.

What can I do instead of a delete?

We recommend that you move the unwanted team to the building's scratch pad, see Move Teams using the VBS Scratch Pad.

Okay, I understand but really want to delete

When you are 100% sure that you want to delete the team, then complete the following:

Delete a Team

1. From the stack, select a (A) team. Note that you can select a team from the stack, block, or the Informational Panel.
2. From the Information Panel, click the Teams tab.
3. Click the (B) Delete button. The warning message displays Are you sure you want to delete the selected team? This includes blocking, clearing people from the team, and removing the team from any associated scenario plans.
4. Click the OK button to confirm the deletion.

Delete Multiple Teams

You can delete teams using the Information Panel.

1. Select either the building or the floor.
2. From the Information Panel, click the Teams tab.
3. Select the (A) teams. Note you can select multiple teams hold the Ctrl key + click the different teams OR hold the Shift key and click the first team and then click the last team, which will select all the teams between those two points.
4. Click the (B) Delete button. The warning message displays Are you sure you want to delete the selected team? This includes blocking, clearing people from the team, and removing the team from any associated scenario plans.
5. Click the OK button to confirm the deletion.
