Engage Kiosk Version 1.49.0

General Maintenance

  • When searching for a person, a gray "loading card" displays, this issue has been fixed.
  • Kiosk will now respect the rotation and placement settings.

You can download the new version from the Microsoft Store or from Install and Set up Engage Kiosk.

Launch Engage Web in kiosk mode using Microsoft Edge

A new URL parameter is now available to launch Engage Web directly in Kiosk Mode. This can be used in conjunction with Windows user profiles configured in Kiosk mode. When used with Windows Kiosk Mode, the environment prevents users from exiting the application or accessing system functions, such as closing the browser with the touchscreen keyboard. This ensures a secure and focused display ideal for reception areas, wayfinding screens, and shared kiosks.

Engage Configuration - Display SVLive status icons

Within Serraview the Engage Configuration has the setting called “Display SVLive status icons”. When your organization has SVLive implemented and you check this, then you can choose if you want the status icons to display on the floorplans. With this release to Engage, means this setting will now work in the Engage UI.

Search bar for Location Switcher

UI Change

You can now quickly find buildings when switching locations with a new search bar at the top of the Location Switcher. Typing a building name displays matching results, allowing users to select a building and expand its floor list instantly. This enhancement simplifies navigation for clients with many Engage-enabled buildings.
