Add a single floor plan

Prerequisites

Before you proceed to use the Floor Plan Importer Tool to add a new floor, make sure you have the following:

• Building exists in Serraview.
• Floor exists in Serraview.
• Floor does not have any existing floor plans or mapping.

Purpose

Follow the steps in this section to:

• add a floor plan and mapping for the first time for one floor.

Floor Plan Importer Tool Required Fields

Complete the following:

1. Navigate to Admin Settings > Data Imports > Floorplan Imports. The Floor Plan Importer Tool displays.
2. From the Select building drop-down, select the building.
3. From the Select floor drop-down, select the floor.
4. Click the Choose File button to upload the AutoCAD file.

No other options are required.

4. Click the RUN! button.

5. Review the Import Results and Warnings, see Floor Plan Importer Tool Import Results.

6. Review the floor in the Spaces module.
