The toolbar contains the following tools:

Edit Floor Mode

The toolbar contains the following tools:

Edit Polyline icon

When you are in the Edit Floor Mode their several changes you can make such as Join with Like Shapes, Overwrite Other Shapes, and Modify or Move a Shape's Points. For more details, see Using Space Tools to Edit Spaces.

Add Polyline icon

You can add points or polygons to the floorplans. Read the article, Add Serraview Polyline.

Note: If you are using Serraview’s Floorplan Importer, new spaces must be created in your CAD file and then uploaded. Do not use the Spaces module to create them. If you are unsure if you are using Floorplan Importer, then check with your System Administrator.

Measuring Tool icon

The measuring tool is a quick way to measure the floor and this can be used in the View Only mode or Edit Floor mode.  For more details, see Using the Measuring Tool.

Tag tool icon

If you need to tag spaces on a floorplan, for example, a Sit to Stand or Reserved desk, you can now paint Tags onto the floorplan. This can be used in the View Only mode or the Edit Floor mode. For more details, see Tag Spaces.

Attributes icon

When you want to view which space has a particular attribute/equipment, such as video conferencing, you will be able to quickly display this on the floorplan. For more details, see View Attributes.

Renumbering tool icon

The renumbering tool allows you to adjust the numbering of spaces quickly and efficiently. For more details, see Renumbering Spaces.

Bulk Update icon

Use the Bulk Update to update the Engage Booking Access in bulk, see Set up Desk Reservation Permissions. Also, you can update Space Types or Charge Rules in bulk, see Update Space Details via the Spaces Module.

Markers icon

The Marker tool lets you place markers on the floorplan, such as a Fire Extinguisher, Lockers, Mail Room. For more details, see Add, Move, or Remove Markers.
