Eptura Engage Integration

Overview

This integration makes Serraview the authoritative source for HR and location data, ensuring workplace systems stay aligned as organizations change. By synchronizing people, team, and space data in real time, booking rules in Eptura Engage automatically reflect the latest organizational structure and space definitions — reducing manual effort, preventing booking errors, and supporting a more consistent employee experience across the workplace.

Maintain a single, consistent source of truth for buildings, floors, and spaces across planning and workplace experiences. This ensures space decisions and employee interactions are always based on accurate, up‑to‑date location data.

  • Establishes Serraview as the single source of truth for HR and location data, including buildings, floors, space types, and spaces.
  • Synchronizes HR, team, neighborhood, and location changes to Eptura Engage in real time using a standard data model.
  • Automatically keeps booking rules and space attributes in Eptura Engage aligned as teams move and spaces change.

Limitations

Review the following limitations:

  • If a Person/HR record does not include an email address, that record will not have a corresponding user in Eptura Engage.
  • User authentication is still separate, as Serraview and Eptura Engage will have different user personas. As such, SSO login will need to be set up independently in each product.
  • Building's Short Name will be used in the User Group naming convention. If a building does not have a short name, any User Groups associated with that building will start with ”[blank space where the building's short name should be] - F [floor name]”
  • The total combined character count for building short names, floor, neighborhood, and team must not exceed 87 characters. Anything longer will be truncated.
