rich-interface view
rich-interface view
Introduced for v16.3, Archibus views that use interactive Web technologies to deliver a richly interactive interface.
Rich-interface views use technologies such as AJAX and direct-Web remoting to update portions of the screen to give a quick and immediate response. This is distinct from the previous style of “page-based” Web interaction that replaced the entire page with every mouse click or request.
Archibus originally implemented rich-interface views for Web Central.
Rich-interface view files can be written from scratch using XML, created using Web Central’s View Definition Wizard, or converted from .Avw view files using Web Central's View Definition Wizard.
They have the file extension, .axvw.
