Enter Leases and Portfolio Items (Portfolio Process)

Step 1: Enter your leases

  1. Enter leases using a wizard that guides you through the process, or use simple forms that enable you to enter a subset of lease information quickly. See:

  3. As a lease progresses, you may want to record notes pertaining to particular events, tenant complaints, and legal correspondence. You can associate a document with the communication log, and can review the log and associated document as needed

Step 2: Enter portfolio items (buildings, structures, land)

Use the Portfolio Edit Wizard to enter your buildings , structures , and land and associate these items with leases. These items are known as portfolio items .

Step 3: Enter and manage your lease and portfolio costs

  1. Review these concepts to determine how you want to use the cost modeling system:

  2. Optional: Enter a lease cost profile .

  3. Use the Cost Wizard to enter and manage lease and portfolio costs.

  4. Review your costs with the Cost Reports process .
