Lesson 7: Develop equipment
Facilities contain both office equipment (computers, printers, and networking equipment) as well as building equipment (boilers, air vents, smoke detectors, pumps, and so on). Both types of equipment are vital to the day-to-day operation of the facility and must be properly inventoried and maintained. Having an accurate list of equipment and its location is the foundation of any facility management system.
