Publish Floor Plans to ArcGIS with the Smart Client Extensions

With the floor plan georeferenced and the Extensions for Esri configured, you are ready to publish your floor plan to ArcGIS.

To publish an Archibus floor plan to ArcGIS:

  1. Launch the Smart Client Extension of your choosing (AutoCAD or Revit) and open the floor plan to be published.

  2. Confirm that the floor plan is properly connected to Archibus by selecting Drawing Properties from the Smart Client Extension ribbon.

  3. Select Publish Enterprise Graphics from the Smart Client Extension ribbon.

  4. Specify " This Drawing Only" and " Extents" as publishing options, then click Publish .

  5. It is not necessary to change any of the other publishing options.

  6. The Smart Client Extension will publish enterprise-graphics, then call the Extensions for Esri to publish the floor plan to ArcGIS.

  1. Publishing your Archibus floor plan to ArcGIS is now complete.
