Manage Space and Occupancy (Space Console)

This section covers using the Space Console to review your space  data and update it as necessary. These topics assume that you have already developed a space inventory, and are now using the Space Console to maintain it. Similarly, the topics focus on assigning space to employees that you've already created or imported. 
The following is a list of the most-frequently accessed tasks and queries. As you work with the Space Console and its filter and highlighting features, you will find that you can combine these features in many ways to create a myriad of queries. 

Notes:

  • There are two versions of the Space Console view. In Foundations, you access the ab-sp-console.axvw, which does not support Team Space, plan types, or the 3D Navigator. The full Space Console (ab-sp-console-trans.axvw) is available from  the Space SaaS module, Space Inventory application, and Occupancy application.  The two Space Console views operate in the same manner and share the same set of help topics. 
  • As outlined below, the Space Console offers many features for examining and managing space and occupancy. Occasional users may want to simply highlight a floor plan and share it. These occasional users can use a simpler view, the View and Print Floor Plan task.
