Preloading all Navigator views

Archibus Web Central views are loaded on demand. When a user loads from the Navigator a view has not been loaded before, Web Central compiles the view file and then displays the view. Thus, there is a small but noticeable delay before the view can be displayed the very first time.

System integrators and enterprise IT staff can preload all views, to reduce the initial view loading delay for end users. To preload all views:

1. Open the System / Archibus Administrator - Application Configuration / Preload All Views task.
2. Click on one of the Start Preload buttons:
   • Start Preload for all Views
   • Start Preload for Navigator Tasks Only

The system starts the preloading process. Depending on the hardware and software configuration, the process may take up to one hour. During preloading, users may continue working with Web Central.
