Attest to Health Before Checking in to Booked Workspace

Your site may wish to implement a system in which employees coming into the workplace complete a health attestation before they check in to a booked workspace. Employees verifying their health upon entering the workplace will help to keep the overall workplace safe during the COVID pandemic.

Note : This procedure applies to checking into a booked space using Workplace; it does not apply to using the Hoteling / Requestor / Verify Booking task or checking in using the Workplace Services Portal mobile app.

Procedure: Employee Attests to Health before Checking In to Booked Space

With this feature, Workplace users follow this procedure for checking in.

  1. On the Dashboard or Workplace Reservations screen, reservations for which you must check in and attest to your health present a Health Check button, instead of a Check In button.

  1. Click the Health Check button, and you receive a list of health conditions to review.

  2. If you agree that you do not have these symptoms, click Confirm. Workplace now presents the Check In button so that you can check in to the booked space. If you do not agree with these conditions, click outside of the Health Check form to close it.

Procedure: Set up Health Check Feature

To set up Workplace to provide the health check feature, you set application parameters and enter a message.

  1. From the Configure Hoteling Parameters task, activate the Check In feature by setting the ConfirmationTime parameter.

  2. From the Configure Hoteling Parameters task, activate the Health Check feature by setting the HealthCheckRequired parameter to Yes.

  3. In the Health Check form, Archibus provides a standard set of health conditions for the employee to review. If you would like to change this message, edit the HEALTH_CHECK entry in the Archibus Messages table.

    • From the System / Archibus Administrator - Application Configuration / Edit Messages task, filter to AbSpaceHoteling and locate the HEALTH_CHECK record.

    • In the Message field, enter the text that you want to display on the Health Check form. For information, see Messages Table (System Management Help) .
