Cost Forecast Wizard: Overview

The Cost Forecast Wizard enables you to develop recurring cost data for a building, and to allocate these costs to the departments that occupy the building.

The Cost Forecast Wizard has the following tabs:

• Select Building : Select the building you want to work with.
• Building Costs : Add and edit building occupancy costs. Filter the costs shown by Review Date.
• Allocate Costs : Set a Review Date and distribute building costs to the departments projected to occupy the building on that date.
• Cost Allocation Chart: View a pie chart illustrating the distribution of costs by division.
• Department Analysis: View the Department Analysis, a summary report that enables you to drill-down to see the group records that contributed to the summary,

When you select a Review Date on a tab, that date is used on subsequent tabs. See Selecting Review Dates .
