Tagged Furniture Reports

Once your tagged furniture inventory is developed, you can use the Furniture process to view the following reports that help you review, analyze, and print your data.

You can generate the Tagged Furniture by Department and the Tagged Furniture by Room as paginated reports that include all your assets. Or, you can use the Filter console included with these reports to generate a paginated report for a subset of your data.

Report Description How to Generate
Furniture Standards Book Working from a comprehensive list of your standards, use an index bar and the Smart Search console to locate a specific standard and review its details. You can print the information for a standard.
  1. Select Assets / Asset Portal / Furniture/ View Furniture Standards Book .

    A selection list of all your furniture standards appears.

  2. Click a furniture standard in the selection list.

    The Furniture Standard section presents the information stored for the selected standard, including a graphic of the standard if one has been added for it.

  3. Click the Print icon to print information for a single selected standard.
Room Plan with Tagged Furniture Locate a room asset using its floor plan drawing, and then review the furniture and totals for each furniture standard associated with the room.
  1. Select Assets / Asset Portal / Furniture / View Room Plan with Tagged Furniture List .
  2. From the selection tree, select a floor from the list of floors by buildings.

    The floor plan drawing for the selected floor appears.

  3. Select a room in the drawing.

    The Furniture Standards Totals section summarizes the furniture standards associated with furniture in that room, and the Furniture List shows all furniture items for the room.

  4. Click the Print icon to print information for a single selected room.
Tagged Furniture by Department Review a summary list of tagged furniture by the department the furniture is assigned to.
  1. Select Assets / Asset Portal / Furniture / View Tagged Furniture by Department .
  2. Do one of the following:
  • Select a department from the selection tree to view the furniture assigned to that department.
  • Select a division or department from the filter console at the top of the screen, and click Show; the selection tree now includes only the specified organizational unit. In the Select Department panel, select the department from the restricted list to see its assigned furniture.
  1. To generate a report, click Paginated Report. The report includes all assets associated with the departments shown in the selection tree.

Note: If you set a restriction (by selecting a division and/or department from the Filter console, and clicking Show), and then click Paginated Report, the report includes only furniture for the specified organizational unit. If you do not set a restriction, the report shows all furniture grouped by division and department.

Tagged Furniture by Room Review a summary list of tagged furniture by the room the furniture is assigned to.
  1. Select Assets / Asset Portal / Furniture / View Tagged Furniture by Room .
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Select a room from the selection tree in the Select Room pane to view the furniture assigned to that room.
    • Select a building or floor from the filter console at the top of the screen, and click Show; the selection tree now includes only the specified building/floor. In the Select Room panel, select the room from the restricted list to see its furniture assets.
  3. To generate a report, click Paginated Report. The report includes all assets associated with the building and floors shown in the selection tree.

Note: If you set a restriction (by selecting a building and/or floor from the Filter console and clicking Show), and then click Paginated Report, the report includes furniture for only rooms in the specified building and floor. If you do not set a restriction, the report shows all furniture grouped by room.
