Commands Not on Menus

The following commands do not appear on the Archibus Smart Client Extension for AutoCAD menu, but can be executed by typing their names at the AutoCAD command prompt:

Command

Purpose

AFM_INFO Lists information about your project, such as: drawings folder, graphics folder, symbols folder, if Cloud is enabled, and so on.
AFM_QUERYTEXT Load a defined query text definition for the current drawing, or define new definition. See Query Text .
AFM_BATCHPUBLISH Batch publishes drawings in enterprise graphics format. This command is useful when publishing large numbers of drawings at once (for example, 300 or more). For information, see AFM_BATCHPUBLISH command.

AFM_ASTLAYT

In the AutoCAD command prompt, prompts for an asset layer. This provides a quick non-dialog format of the Asset Layer command. You can also activate this command by typing ALT.

ARX C

Lists all available commands, except those that are self-loading Lisp routines.

ARX L

Loads ARX.

AFM_ENABLE Enables the AutoCAD Extension for the currently running version of AutoCAD
AFM_DISABLE Disables the AutoCAD Extension for the currently running version of AutoCAD.
AFM_ENABLEPUBLISHLOG:

This will enable or disable publish logging.

Notes:

  • These settings persist across AutoCAD sessions; once set, they dictate whether or not and the type of publishing log that is generated in all AutoCAD editing sessions.
  • To turn off, you must run the AFM_ENABLEPUBLISHLOG command and select the 'False' option.
  • When publishing from the AutoCAD Extension, the files that are generated can be found at:
    • C:\Users\ THEUSERSNAME \AppData\Roaming\Archibus\xx\AutoCAD\reports
  • When publishing from Revit, the files can be found at:
    • C:\Users\ THEUSERSNAME \AppData\Roaming\Archibus\xx\Revit\reports
AFM_PUBLISHLOGTYPE: This specifies whether or not Terse or Verbose publishing will occur.

The following describes commands for applications that are not on menus. You run these commands from the command line.
