Compliance Program Managers Rescheduling and Updating Events

Objective

Compliance Managers need to continually monitor event scheduling, assignments, and other information and make adjustments as needed to ensure that scheduled events are completed in a timely fashion and that no compliance violations occur.

Solution

Several tasks present events that are most likely to require a schedule adjustment, and highlight events by their status to identify tasks that require adjustment. Using these tasks, you can also update multiple events with the same information. For example, you can select multiple events and assign a new Date Scheduled Start or a new Responsible Person for the event. These tasks highlight events to help you identify events by critical information, such as the event status .

Procedure

Use one of the following tasks to reschedule and update events:

  • Use the Schedule Compliance Events task to adjust the schedule and other information for events. The view includes events with the status 'Scheduled' and that have a Date Completion Required that is today or after. These are the events that are most likely to require a schedule adjustment. This task highlights events that are missed or overdue, as these are the tasks that pose the greatest risk of noncompliance. From this view, you can bulk update multiple events with the same information, such as the Responsible Person or Date Scheduled Start. See Rescheduling Compliance Events.
  • Use the Manage All Compliance Events task to update the status for events having any event status. To help you locate events by their Event Status, or to identify events that have not started or completed on time, this view highlights events by their status or whether the event is missed or overdue . See Manage All Compliance Events.
