Highlight Command (Macro)
Command: AFM_HIGHLIGHT
Purpose: .The Highlight command thematically highlights floor plans. As a CAD specialist, you can use this command to:
- visually check your work
- preview how the drawing will display on the Web
- find any rooms that have not been edited, or any standards or departments that do not have a hatch pattern set.
The command does not support legends or query text. However, the Highlight by Owner commands support legends, and you can run the Occupancy Plan command from the command line to show employee query text on room assets. See Highlight by Owner Commands and Create Occupancy Plan Command .
Accessing this command: This command is used primarily from command macros from process task records, but it can also be run from the command line.
Note:
When the Extension for AutoCAD loads, the Ribbon shows the Archibus tab by default. To see the Graphic and Tools commands, select the Utilities tab on the Ribbon.
Example
Command: AFM_HIGHLIGHT
Asset layer to thematically highlight: <> rm
Validating table by which to theme the highlight: dp
Note : The validating table is required to have an Hpattern Acad field.
The following is an example of the command used as a command macro for a process task record:
Highlight Rooms by Department afm_highlight;rm;dp;
Clear Highlight afm_clh;
You can also clear highlights by selecting Archibus / Asset Graphic / Clear Highlights from the Ribbon.
