Archibus V.2024.02 Product Release

Archibus V.2024.02 introduces several enhancements, as listed below.

Main Features

Web Central

  • Improved performance for the Maintenance Console when loading large data by preventing the expansion of unnecessary bands at initial load.

  • Improved loading time of the Space Console and other views by preventing the same view file from being loaded twice for the same request. In our tests, using the standard HQ sample database, deployed on in an Archibus SaaS environment, the loaded time of the Space Console has decreased from ~ 8 seconds to ~ 4 seconds.

  • Improved performance when loading navigation trees with more than 200 nodes.

Workplace

  • Continuing Accessibility improvements efforts.

New Features

  • Print floor plans from the “Search people and places” page.

  • Meeting organizers can check availability of attendees for selected date and time (ex. Green Icon = Attendee is available).

  • Filter available meeting rooms by "Room arrangement type"

  • Usability improvements. For example: When searching for people, booked seats are displayed before permanent seats, as there is higher chance that the employee sits in the booked seat.

BIM Viewer

  • Proof-of-Concept: Limited support for linked models stored in Autodesk Construction Cloud is available, with functionality limited to standard linked models composed of main model, a linked architectural model, and a linked MEP/ assets model.

  • Catalog BIM Models: Create floors for Revit levels that have assets but have no rooms.

Smart Client

  • SmartClient Single Sign-On (SSO) method supports Relative Location Headers.

  • The Smart Client Extension for Revit supports model names or level names containing the '-' character.

  • BIM Managers can now create floors for Revit levels that have assets but have no rooms.

  • When Publishing 2D, the layer names have intuitive names and are created based on Revit category names.
