Archibus Getting Started Archibus Foundations: Foundations Manager

As a Foundations Manager, you have these major tasks:

  • Develop initial facility data (you might choose to outsource this task).
  • Maintain this facility data once developed.
  • Manage basic aspects of your facility, such as departmental space assignments and employee occupancy
  • Manage the requests from self-service users, such as requests for maintenance, reservations, and services.

First, become acquainted with Archibus Foundations and its tools for managing space and service requests by using the sample database to work through the following lessons. For sample users, see Archibus Sample Users .

With an understanding of the Archibus system from the above lessons, you can now enter your facility data into the Archibus system. Once this data is entered, you can use the concepts covered in the above lessons to manage your space inventory.

As a facility manager with an understanding of operations at your site, you can define business processes and set up kiosks and QR codes.
