Move Requestor
As a move requestor, you can request employee moves, equipment moves, asset moves, or room moves. These moves can be:
| Move Type | Description |
|---|---|
| individual move | Move an individual employee (and optionally their assigned furniture and equipment), equipment item, asset, or room. |
| group move | Move multiple employees, teams. assets, or rooms at the same time and consolidate them on as one move. |
The Move Requestor process, shown below, has several tasks for requesting individual and group moves, as well as reviewing the moves. For details, see:

Note: Instead of providing general users with the Request Move tasks, your site might provide general staff with Archibus Workplace on a tablet, kiosk, or smart phone so that self-service users can request moves. For your convenience, you can also access Workplace from the Move Requestor process. Moves requested through Workplace appear in the Move Console, from where a manager can then manage the move and add more details. See Methods of Requesting Moves
Note :The Workplace Services Portal mobile app also provides the ability for an employee to request a move. In this case, the move is handled as a service request and is managed by the Service Desk application and will not appear in the Move Console.
