Change the Color of a Layer
Your site may have color convention for drawing items. If so, you will want to change the default color assignment for the layers of the Archibus schema so that the colors match the convention used at your site.
- From the Smart Client, choose:
- System / Add-In Manager / Edit Layers .
- This task presents the Archibus Layers table, which defines the properties of all drawing layers in the schema.
- Edit the Layer Color field to specify a layer color. Enter a number representing a CAD color. The standard numbers and their colors are below. For more information on CAD colors and their corresponding numbers, see AutoCAD online help.
- 1-Red
- 2-Yellow
- 3-Green
- 4-Cyan
- 5-Blue
- 6-Magenta
- 7-White (If your drawing's background color is white, this will be white on your drawing.)
- To have these changes take effect in the current project, restart the application server.
