Change Table Titles

Table titles display on the View Definition Wizard and dialog boxes in Smart Client, such as the dialog box for Select Fields. You may wish to change a table title in order to have the program present a table with a title that more closely matches operations at your site.

To edit the table titles presented to users:

1. From the Smart Client or Archibus Web Central, choose:

• System / Add-In Manager / Edit Archibus Data Dictionary .
• This task presents the Archibus Tables table, which defines all the tables in the schema.

2. Complete the Title field with the value that you want to appear to the user.

3. To have these changes take effect in the current project, restart the application server. If your deployment is hosted by Archibus, this requires contacting Archibus technical support and requesting a restart of the cloud environment.
