Hazard Abatement Sample Data

As you explore the features of the Hazard Abatement application, you may wish to view the sample data of the HQ project. This sample data illustrates several key points about how you can use the application.

The major themes of the sample data are:

  • Tracking and reporting on multiple types of building contaminants (substances): asbestos, lead paint, mold.
  • Detailed tracking of assessment items (material type, location, condition, quantity, description, classification, response, etc.), along with corresponding multiple samples per assessment and multiple lab results per sample.
  • Visual representation and ID of rooms, assessments, and samples on floor plans via the Web.
  • Complete assessment of a floor: HQ11.
  • Assessment of multiple materials and locations within a room: HQ11-115.
  • Single-building project : 2011-MARKET-ASBESTOS, entire site project: 2011-MARKET-ASBESTOS.
  • Project Communication Log Items: 2011-MARKET-ASBESTOS and 2011-MARKET-MOLD.
  • Project Action items: 2011-MARKET-MOLD
  • Project Communication Log Item associated with a project action item: 2011-MARKET-MOLD
  • Project Communication Log Item with attached document: 2011-XC02-MOLD .
  • Tracking history: The project 2012-MARKET-ASBESTOS illustrates follow-up assessment/surveillance of items in 2011-MARKET-ASBESTOS where the hazard response was CB-MANAGE (i.e. manage in place). It illustrates having a follow-up project with follow-up assessments in the “ready” state. Therefore, if you select the history tab for any item in the 2012 project, it will list the 2011 item along with the 2012 item. In the sample, the 2012 item has not yet been assessed, so certain fields such as status and condition are blank.
