layer convention

The information controlling what type of information (wall lines, room boundaries, text) is kept on each layer and how items on a layer are displayed. A layer convention includes such information as the color of items drawn on the layer, the type of line used for drawing an item (continuous, dashed, or center), and the layer's default asset type . Layer convention information is stored in the A/FM Layers table, which contains an entry for each layer that is available to drawings in the current project, and can be edited by System Manager users.
