Auto-Commit Preference (Oracle)

The Web Central and Smart Client programs commit changes:

• At the end of a workflow rule execution, or
• When the business logic within the workflow rule explicitly commit data (as they may do after creating a record with an auto-numbered primary key so that the key value can be referenced by other records within the same rule.

The Web Central and Smart Client programs do not obey the "Auto-Commit All" or "Auto-Commit Tables" Schema Preferences (i.e. the afm_scmpref table preferences).
