Archibus BIM Categories Table (afm_bim_categories)

This table lists the built-in Revit categories and their built-in identifiers. Archibus uses this information to deterministically identify Revit categories.

The Asset Class Code field is validated by the Archibus Asset Classes table; this field is used to roll up the BIM Categories to Asset Classes.

The Archibus Asset Families table (asset_family) includes a Category Field, which validates on this table.

You can access this task from the Web Central Navigator at System / CAD and BIM Manager / Archibus BIM Categories or load the table in the Smart Client.
