Creating a Room Inventory - Overview

If you are performing the day-to-day operational functions around the room, such as vacancy analysis, allocation planning, occupancy, moves, reservations, and hoteling, you will need to create a room inventory. You can base a room inventory on Revit room elements or Revit area elements. Your BIM Execution Plan will determine the level of accuracy you need to maintain your room areas.
