facilities record drawing
A detailed drawing in which all floor areas are precisely drawn to half-inch accuracy, and your overall drawing is within 1 percent accuracy. To obtain this level of accuracy, you draw to a one inch snap grid.
This type of precision is necessary in the following types of situations:
- if your space costs are very high, such as in a downtown office in which even fractional square feet or meters are tracked with care
- if you are a property owner charging tenants based on percentage occupancy
- if you are a hospital charging insurance carriers based on occupancy and space use
